Durability of the materials and theory of elongation No.7
An attempt by the leading public to open a higher educational institution in Georgia has failed to generate positive results for more than one hundred years of actual annexation by the Russian Empire …
Only on May 6, 1917, when the Russian imperial system was subverting, the temporary government approved the draft law on the opening of Tbilisi Polytechnic Institute. On October 9, Tbilisi Polytechnic Institute was opened, which was only comprised of only agricultural faculties. Up to 300 applicants were admitted to the institute, among which 100 were Georgians. The study was conducted in the Russian language, primarily due to the lack of professors of national professors.
On 26 January 1918 Tbilisi University was founded. On December 30, 1921, the University Council established its polytechnic faculty with its construction, mechanical and mining – chemical divisions in its composition. These departments included 9 specialties. On 16th of January the following year was opened the University of Polytechnic Faculty of the University. At this time, lectures were delivered to students: Prof. Niko Muskhelishvili – Theoretical Mechanics, Dr. Found. Tulashvili – Construction Case, Const. Amirejibi – Building Materials; Lecturers: b. Chichinadze – Material Strength, Stages of Structures, G. Khichinashvili – Foundation – Foundations, Construction Art; Assistant A. Chikovani – Material Strength, N. Gvaramadze – Bridges and more.
From May 1922, the Tbilisi Polytechnic Institute was recognized as the highest educational institution in the South Caucasus. But the date of the establishment of the Polytechnic Institute of 1922 is considered when the university has opened the Georgian Polytechnic Faculty; His opening was celebrated by Iv. Javakhishvili’s Speech at the Council Meeting. Since 1928-1919 academic year, the Georgian Polytechnic Institute has been established, which was created at the TSU Faculty and TSU Base.
Professor Giorgi Mukhadze headed the Department of Construction Mechanics and subsequent materials from 1928 to 1963 (before death).
In 1935 she published her Georgian textbook stages. In 1946 G. Mukhadze was elected as a correspondent member of Georgian Academy of Sciences of the Soviet Socialist Republic of Georgia. The subject of G. Mukhadze’s research is the issues of calculations, losses, framing and retaining walls. While studying this problem, he used a wide range of graphs, which significantly simplified the calculation process.
As a result of the great merit of G. Mukhadze, scholars who grew up in construction mechanics, material strength, elasticity theory. We cannot describe in detail the scientific and pedagogical work of the members of the chair. At this faculty 15- 20 assistants, up to 5 assistants, 3-4 post-graduates and labors.
- Mukhadze was awarded the rank of professor in 1931. The members of this chamber were Prof. C. Mukhadze (Head of Chair), Doctorates: A. Kakushadze, V. Batsitsadze, a. Sharmazanashvili, A. Shanshiashvili, N. Abdullayev, c. Omadze, V. Vernapetov, A.Chukasheli, G. Mvirinadze, A.Jabua, D.Taktakishvili, V.Shushania, A.Meskh, N. Namoradze, l. Sanadze, M. Mukhadze.
At the faculty, there was an active scientific work, led by Prof. C. Mukhadze was standing. Scientific seminars were regularly published. For example, the brigade C. Mukhadze, Dr. A. Kakushadze, N.Badulayev and Wanapetov composed scientific work “on accounting loads of coils, tiles, lenses, and multi-storied vans.” The results of this work were introduced: “Palace of the Palace”, during the planning of Khram Hayes and the Chitakhevi HPP.
The results of scientific research were regularly printed in the AP’s work. For example, N. Abdullayev’s works: “Mixed method of solving some of the theory of elasticity”, tiles report on triangular load, “approximate method of determining frequency of spontaneous fluctuations” and so forth.
In 1949, Dr. N. Abdullayev’s “Composition of Troubleshooting Materials” (Technical Mechanics, printed by Dr. V. Batsikadze’s Monograph “Examples of Calculation of Artificial Systems”.
Published by Doctor. A. Kakuladze’s textbook “Theory of Elasticity and Plastics” is two-dimensional; The Guidance provided great assistance to students, engineers, and scientists; For this period (50 years) there was no such manual in Georgian. The textbooks were published in materials: Sh. Jabua and d. Taktakishvili “Short Course of Material Strength” Mukhadze, K. Cadare and b. Japaridze’s “Strength of Materials”, Part 1 and Part 2, N. Nomoradze’s “Strength of Materials”, Part 1 and Part 2.
In the fifties, the Institute’s works are also printed on the fragments of dissertation. For example, a. Meskhi’s articles “Using the T iR spectrum function in dynamic calculation of the rectangular filling”. “New Option for Determining High Frequency Frequency Freeway”.
At the same time, the department chaired the c. Haasalia Dissertation Theme “Research of SphericalRicine Connection Lines by Determination of Elasticity Above the Elasticity Range”.

Mikeladze), “Variable Locks”, “Calculating Speed Forces” (by Prof. Mikeladze). The large chair of the chairs made major productions. Consultation. Eg, prof. C. Mukhadze – Transcaucasian Railway objects, A. Kakazadze – construction of bridges in Tskhinvali, Gori, Baku (sea marine); F. Batsikadze – objects of “Sakokunpproject”; F. Varapetov – various objects of the Transcaucasian
In the beginning of the 60s there was a new reorganization of the Technical Higher Education – joined by Tbilisi Railway Transport Engineers of Georgian Polytechnic Institutions. At the same time, two chairs of the cyclical cycle began to function: the chair of material theory and elasticity theory and the chair of construction mechanics.
Acad. C. Following the death of Mukhadze, the cathedra was headed by A. Kakushadze. She was attracted to young talented scientists, postgraduates and assistants at the chair. A. Under the guidance of Kakuladze, many candidate dissertations in technical sciences were preserved. Disserties have been observed by Asp. D Danelia, A. Khabeishvili, I. Esadze, T. Batsikadze, P. Kokhreidze, G. Rukhadze, b. Chiradze. The problematic issues of the diagrams were related to the static-dynamic calculation of tiles and membranes with different methods; Mainly used the green functions.
Prof. A. Kakushadze has been promoting the growth of young scientists in many publications as well as in republican journalism and spirit work.
For great merit, Prof. A. Kakushadze was granted honorary rank of science and technology; He was awarded with the state order and medals.
In the late 70s, the end of the age Kakushadze refused to resign as chair of the department and remained a professor at the same department. He was elected as a Head of the Department, Prof. al. Losaberidze, who has continued the predecessor
Starting from the case. This period has been defended by the thesis. J. Bakhtadze; Candidate dissertations were observed in A. Tvaladze and R. Shelia.

Theoretical Mechanics N 4
Mechanical is one of the basic sciences that developed with the development of the community. The mechanics of the humanity of the greatness of the minds of the gentlemen know the obstacles in the work of the one in the scientific system. Works of 1500-1962 in the form of aesthetic complex. Excerpts from the mainstreaming events: inerticity, acceleration, speed control, body weight. (1643-1727), with the exception of the preceding observations of the sciences in 1687, in the year 1687, the monogram of “natural phyllophobia mathematical origins”, in which the classical mechanism of trigonometry.
Based on differential and integral regulations, the analytical methods of mechanics were created, with the foundations laid down by L. Ellier (1707-1783), J.Danlamber (1713-1783), J.Longgrass (1736-1813). The scholarship was found in the works of M.ostagradsky (1801-1862), P.Chasishev (1821-1894), A.Alapunov (1857-1918), I. Meshchersky (1859-1935), K.Colokovsky (1957-1935) 1863-1945 ), N. Zhukovsky (1847-1921), S. Chaplagin (1949-1842) and others. Mrs. M. Muskhelishvili and I. Vekua were the most valuable contributors to the development of mechanics. Theoremical mechanics, as in physics-mathematics science, is the one-and-a-kind important of the greatness of the work of all specialty engineers. An instructional discipline, which is studied at the beginning of the study of the real engineering engine.
Theoretical Mekanikanicidadicas based on the generalization of aerodynamics of physiology: material resistance, construction mechanics, hydraulics, mechanisms of the study of the machine,
Construction, mechanical, instrumentation, management, management, specialty, specialty in theory of theoretical mechanics.
In theory of theoretical measurements of theorems of theory, the machine is engineered, the implementation of the new constructs.
Theorem
The Polytechnic Institute of Georgia was founded in 1928 on the basis of Polytechnic Faculty of Tbilisi State University, with relevant structural units. All disciplines required for the development of qualified engineering staff were created chair. So for instance, Higher Mathematics No. 3; №4 of theoretical mechanics; Phase-5; Identical geometry number 6; Material resistance №7; General and Unorganized Chemistry No. 8, etc. The 4th Chair of the Theoretical Mechanics was led by Niko Muskhelishvili, who led the chairmanship of 1928-1938.
Niko Muskhelishvili was born in 1891 in the military engineer’s family in Tbilisi (died in 1974, buried in the pantheon of writers and prominent public figures in Tbilisi). In 1914 he graduated from the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of the University of St. Petersburg and left the Faculty of Theoretical Mechanics to obtain a “Professor’s Degree”. Since 1920 he is the head of theoretical mechanics at the Tbilisi State University. 1926-1928 years Muskhelishvili Dean of the Polytechnic Faculty of Tbilisi University, in 1928-1930, in the study unit of the Polytechnic Institute of Georgia. 1930-1936 – Dean of the Pedagogical Institute, then Faculty of Physics and Mathematics at Tbilisi University; After the establishment of the Georgian Academy of Sciences (1941) he is his president.
Niko Muskhelishvili introduced new ideas in the field of teaching and scientific work on the basis of the experience of high polytechnic schools of other countries, and set up appropriate training programs in higher mathematics and theoretical mechanics. In the Polytechnic Institute there are invited academics and teachers (such as A. Kharadze, M. Mikeladze, M. Mirianashvili, D. Dolidze, A. Eliashvili, I. Metskhvarashvili, A. Gorgidze, G. Khazalia, G. Bakhtadze, E. Gegelashvili, A. Benashvili, N. Kvinikadze, I. Gachechiladze and others). In this period there was a need for the need to create textbooks and teaching-method literature in their own language.
At various times and various author’s writing, some guidelines and methodical instructions were written in Georgian for creating theoretical mechanics course. Among them was the academician N. Muskhelishvili. Was versatile and fruitful. Muskhelishvili’s scientific and pedagogic work. As a Polytechnic faculty, and at the Polytechnic Institute of Georgia, he was the first to lead the theoretical mechanics at the Polytechnic Institute.
In the process of pedagogical activity Muskhelishvili composed three original guidelines for students in Georgian language: the course of analytical geometry – in 1922; Course of theoretical mechanics, part I (Stata) – in 1926; Course of theoretical mechanics, part II (cinematics) – in 1928.
In Georgian language The first two parts of Muskhelishvili’s theoretical mechanics course (statism, cinematics) were the basis of theoretical mechanics in higher education institutions. Several generations of engineers and technicians were raised on these books.
- Last edition of Muskhelishvili’s theoretical mechanics course was published in 1933. After almost 25 years, the high schools did not print the manual of theoretical mechanics in Georgian except A. Begiashvili’s excellent book “Theoretical Mechanics”, released in 1934. In the process of reworking it was published again in 1958. While the course of theoretical mechanics was taught in the higher education institutions of Georgia, the leadership of which was led by N. Muskhelishvili’s children and well-known specialists such as N. Vekua, D. Dolidze (State University), A. Gorgidze (Polytechnic Institute) and others.
Mr. Niko was strongly loaded with various organizational and scientific activities. The Academy of Sciences of Georgia was founded by the President of Georgia. Muskhelishvili, who is also the director of Tbilisi Institute of Mathematics. Mr. Niko wrote unique monographs “some of the main tasks of mathematical theory of elasticity”, “singular integral equations” and many other scientific works, which required great energy and time.
When it was determined that N. Muskhelishvili timelessness because they failed the theoretical mechanics of the new course, making the reference to the former disciples, already senior scientists and teachers in a row produced the theoretical mechanics of the best manuals: Niko Vekua – theoretical mechanics course (1956.) – State University of Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty studentebisatvi ; David Dolidze – Short Course of Theoretical Mechanics (1956) – Students of the Faculty of Physics of the State University; Alexi Gorgidze – Theoretical Mechanics Course (1959) – Students of Higher Technical Schools of Georgia. Since then, these manuals have been published several times.
The purpose and purpose of the manual compiled by each of these authors was different from the theory of theoretical mechanics at the university or polytechnic institution. Naturally, here was the view that was made by N. Muskhelishvili expressed his preface to the first edition of his “Theoretical Mechanics Course” (1926). “This book contains the contents of the lectures by which I am studying the first year of the Polytechnic Faculty and the second year students of the Pedagogical Faculty (Mathematical Field).
The influence of ideas and methods in Muskhelishvili’s work was great, based on which many scientific works and research were written. In honor of the great scholar and public figure, the Presidium of the Georgian Academy of Sciences established the award of academician Niko Muskhelishvili.
According to Niko Muskhelishvili’s recommendation in 1938 A. Gorgidze replaced it with the position of the chair of the theoretical mechanics of the Polytechnic Institute of Georgia. In this position A. Gorgidze worked for more than 50 years and has been working on a tireless and fruitful scientific, scientific, methodological, pedagogical and educative work.
Alex Gorgidze was born on May 17, 1907 in Kutaisi (died in Tbilisi in 1992).
Still in 1929 By the invitation of Muskhelishvili, Alexi Gorgidze is working at the Department of Theoretical Mechanics at Georgian Polytechnic Institute, who graduated from Department of Physics and Mathematics at Tbilisi State University Pedagogical Faculty (1928). From this day on. Gorgidze’s life and scientific-pedagogical work is related to the # 4 chair of the Polytechnic Institute of Georgia.
- Gorgidze created the original textbooks in theoretical mechanics in Georgian: “Theoretical Mechanics Course”, Book I (Stamina-Kinematics) and Book II (dynamics). The book was first published in 1959 and has been published five times today. The book I (Stamina-Kinematics) and Book II (Dynamics) are the best textbooks for higher technical institutions. The textbooks are written in the Georgian language. They are desk books of students and specialists of this field.
- Gorge made a great contribution to the methodology of teaching theoretical mechanics at the highest school. The special course on these issues was read at the faculty of teachers’ qualification for higher education institutions established with the Tbilisi State University.
In parallel to the fruitful scientific research and pedagogical work A. Gorgidze also engaged in multilateral public activities. For many years he worked at Tbilisi Institute of Mathematics (Senior Scientific Worker, Student Secretary, as Deputy Director of the Institute). At the same time he worked as an assistant to the President of the Georgian Academy of Sciences. Mr. Alexey was a member of the Presidium of the former Union of Higher Education and the curator of this field in Georgia, member of the Board of Mathematics Union of Georgia, member of the Scientific-Methodical Coordination Council at the Georgian Academy of Sciences, the Head of the Municipal Seminar of Theoretical Mechanics, Member of a number of scientific council And others.
Mr. Alex was awarded the honorary title of Honorable Deacon of Science and Technology. In 2001, one of the streets of Kutaisi was named by Alexi Gorgidze. Established by A. Gorgidze is a scholarship.
He was exemplary by Alexi Gorgidze’s personality, with the most attractive personalities, the best of intellect, and Mr. Alex, who was educated with a master, was a true teacher and scholar.
With the direct guidance of Mr. Alexi Gorgidze, the Department of Theoretical Mechanics of the Georgian Technical University was created a powerful collective, which was expanding day-to-day scientific, scientific-pedagogical And methodical work. He chaired the cathedral for nearly 52 years (1938-1990). Mr. Aleksi Gorgidze recommended to the young scientist Doctor of Physics and Mathematics Doctor Professor Leri Doborjginidze in order to vacant his position as the head of # 4 chair of the theory of theory.
Leri Doborjginidze (1947-1993) In 1990 he was elected as the head of the GTU’s theoretical mechanics and worked in this position until his sudden death.

- Viscian has published six monographs. His works are dedicated to various tasks of hydro mechanics, theoretical mechanics, math and general mechanics. Obviously, in mathematical modeling of physical processes, we are dealing with parameters, equations, equations and equation systems. Their perfect solution requires nonstandard approaches, elaboration of new methods and refining existing methods. These types of tasks are one of the difficult parts of the mathematics course. The monogram dedicated to these issues, “Mathematics – equations, equations and equations systems containing parameters”, contains 736 pages. It contains a wide range of parameters containing parameters. These tasks were based on the first doctoral thesis, to obtain the degree of Doctor of Pedagogy, In Moscow, 1999, “Mathematics – Equations with Equations, Equations and Equations Systems”.
- Kvitsiani studied the dynamic processes of dynamic processes of fluid mass and voltage flows on the basis of the general equation of M. Meshchersky, the founder of variable mass dynamics; Static Sustainability of Natural and Artificial Fertilizers with Unstable Objectives (where the first solution is achieved through a clear analysis system); Dynamic tasks of landslides and snowflakes. These tasks were the basis for the second PhD thesis for the degree of Doctor of Science, which was defended in 2001. “Mathematical modeling of dynamic processes of fluid and volatile flows of variable mass” in Tbilisi.
